Communications
Information: Extension of the deadline for submitting communications abstracts until May 15, 2024.
Instructions:
All instructions for submitting articles to the 11th Portuguese-Spanish Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics must be followed, to guarantee the uniformity and quality of their content. As an Iberian and international event, works written in Portuguese, Spanish and English are accepted.
An abstract of the presentation, of a maximum of 300 words, must be sent by (April 15, 2024) May 15, 2024, using the following templates:
- Template for the abstract in Portuguese
- Template for the abstract in Spanish
- Template for the abstract in English
The work must be sent to alegg2024@uevora.pt, indicating in the subject the topic of the session and the type of presentation (oral or poster) in which you wish to participate.
The Assembly will be organized into 9 sessions, coinciding with the themes that constitute the Spanish Commission of Geodesy and Geophysics:
- S.01. Geodesy
- S.02. Seismology and Physics of the Earth’s Interior
- S.03. Geomagnetism and Aeronomy
- S.04. Volcanology
- S.05. Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences
- S.06. Physical Oceanography
- S.07. Hydrology
- S.08. Applied Geophysics
- S.09. Cryospheric Sciences
Subsequently, by September 30, 2024, the complete articles must be sent, which will appear in the Assembly publication and will be sent in digital format to all participants. Submitted works must have a maximum limit of 10 pages, and the format must follow the instructions given in the following models:
Presentation:
Communications accepted at the Assembly for oral presentation will have a presentation time and another to answer the questions raised by those present. These exposure times will be defined later, around 15 minutes.
Posters must have a maximum size of 70 x 100 cm, in vertical format.
